Identifying consistent biomechanical parameters across rising-to-walk subtasks to inform rehabilitation in practice: A systematic literature review

چکیده
:The best approach to rehabilitate the control of everyday whole-body movement (e.g. rise-to-walk) after pathology remains unclear in part because associated controlled performance variables are not known. Rise-to-walk can be performed fluidly (sit-to-walk) or non-fluidly (sit-to-stand, proceeded by gait-initiation). Biomechanical that remain consistent health regardless how rise-to walk is represent variable candidates which could monitor rehabilitative change. :To determine if any biomechanical parameters across rising-to-walk (RTW) subtasks gait-initiation, and sit-to-walk) healthy adults for purposes assessment clinical practice. :Data sources included Medline, Cinahl, Scopus databases, grey literature. Study selection was based on eligibility criteria must have reported spatiotemporal, kinematic and/or kinetic featuring >1 RTW subtask. Data extraction synthesis; standardised-mean-differences (SMDs) were calculated (pooled replicated study) each parameter. Consistency determined SMD95 %CIs zero-effect line. :Nine studies (n = 99) (40 ± 7.5yrs). Seven study subjected meta-analysis (fixed-effect model). Two between sit-to-stand sit-to-walk: flexion-momentum time (M(95 %CI) 0.055(-0.423 0.533); p 0.823) peak whole-body-centre-of-mass vertical velocity %CI)= -0.415(-0.898 0.069); 0.093); centre-of-pressure distance at toe-off -0.137(-0.712 0.439); 0.642) gait-initiation sit-to-walk. Another 20 single-study SMDs. :Consistent might exist subtasks. However, evidence few with small samples protocols. Future designed confirm consistency using a standardised protocol needed.
